Tom Mitchell
President and Chief Executive Officer
Tom Mitchell is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Ontario Power Generation. He was appointed to this position on July 1, 2009.
Mr. Mitchell has over 30 years of electricity industry experience. Since joining OPG in 2002 as Vice President, Nuclear Operations, he has held positions of increasing responsibility, most recently serving as OPG’s Chief Nuclear Officer. In this position he was responsible for overseeing OPG’s nuclear generation business which in 2008 saw production from its nuclear units reach their highest level since the company was formed in 1999.
Before joining OPG, Mr. Mitchell was the Vice President of the Assistance Division of the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) in Atlanta, Georgia. INPO is a non-profit corporation whose mission is to promote the highest level of safety and reliability, and to promote excellence in the operation of nuclear generating plants.
His career at INPO included assignments at the World Association of Nuclear Operators, Nuclear Electric in the United Kingdom and Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station, where he served as Manager of Operations Support, Director of Site Engineering, and Site Vice President.
Mr. Mitchell holds a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Engineering from Cornell University.

Robert Boguski
Senior Vice President, Business Services and Information Technology
Rob Boguski is Senior Vice President, Business Services and Information Technology at OPG. His primary accountabilities are to deliver shared services for the corporation including Information Technology, Real Estate, Facilities, Business Services, Fleet management, and Corporate Supply Chain. He also has process ownership and accountabilities across OPG for managing the Supply Chain, Corporate Services and Facilities, and Information Management and Technology.
Rob Boguski was appointed to his current position in April 2008 and previously held the position of Vice President, Nuclear Supply Chain since May 2005.
Prior to joining OPG, he was an Owner and Managing Partner for Epilog Services Inc. He has also held the positions of Vice President, Supply Chain at TransAlta Corporation and Vice President, Distribution and Logistics at Molson Canada. He was a Director for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and he has held management positions with Petro-Canada. He was also a Commissioned Officer in both the Regular and Reserve Canadian Armed Forces.
Rob Boguski holds a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) from the University of Victoria and is a professional member of the Logistics Institute. He was a member of the Advisory Committee to Mount Royal College, Bissett School of Business, and has held a number of Board of Director accountabilities for Brewers' Distributor Ltd.

Bruce Boland
Senior Vice President, Corporate Affairs
Bruce Boland is Senior Vice President, Corporate Affairs, at OPG. He is responsible for Public Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Energy Markets, Sustainable Development, Emergency Preparedness and Corporate Strategy. He also serves as Chair of OPG Ventures. Prior to 2005, he served as Senior Vice President, Customer Solutions, Senior Vice President, Energy Markets and Vice President, Regulatory Affairs.
Bruce Boland served as a member of the Electricity Conservation and Supply Task Force, which published its report in January 2004. He was also a member of the Province’s Market Design Committee on electricity restructuring in 1998/99. He served as a Board Member of the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO), then the Independent Electricity Market Operator (IMO) from 1999 to early 2005. He is also a former member of the Board of the Ontario Energy Association (OEA).
Bruce Boland joined Ontario Hydro, the predecessor company of OPG, in 1982. He holds an MBA from the University of Toronto, a BBA from Wilfrid Laurier University, is a Certified Management Accountant, and a Certified Director of the Institute of Corporate Directors.

David Brennan
Senior Vice President, Law and General Counsel
David Brennan is Senior Vice President, Law and General Counsel at OPG. Mr. Brennan joined OPG in September 2006 and is responsible for the daily operations of OPG’s in-house legal department, including selecting and supervising outside counsel, providing legal input on major transactions and ensuring that the legal staff is proactive and business-minded. This also includes developing a team of business law practitioners.
He has a LL.B. from the University of Western Ontario and was admitted to the Alberta Bar in 1983 and the Ontario Bar in 1986.

Frank Chiarotto, P. Eng
Senior Vice President, Thermal
Frank Chiarotto is the Senior Vice President, Thermal at OPG. He was appointed to this position in November 2008. Currently, Frank is responsible for OPG’s five thermal stations and represents OPG’s interest on 2 Joint Venture gas fired facilities (Portlands Energy Centre and Brighton Beach Plant).
Frank began his career at Ontario Hydro in 1974 in the Thermal Generation Division. He has held numerous positions in the organization working in both technical services functions and plant operations. He has progressively moved through supervisory, section head and managerial positions in Head Office in Toronto and at the generating stations around the province.
Frank's wide ranging experience includes Station Manager of Atikokan GS (1991), Production Manager at Nanticoke GS (1993) and Plant Manager at Lambton GS (1997 to 2007). Prior to his appointment as SVP Fossil, Frank was the Plant Manager of Nanticoke GS.
Born in Italy and raised in Alberta and Ontario, Frank attended the University of Toronto, graduating with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Chemical Engineering. He has subsequently attended Queens University and the University of Western Ontario Richard Ivey Schools of Business Programs. Frank currently lives in Toronto with his wife. He has two sons who also live in Toronto.

Donn Hanbidge
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Donn Hanbidge is Chief Financial Officer at OPG. Donn Hanbidge was appointed to his current position in 2005. He is responsible for providing financial leadership and operational support to OPG’s business units and corporate groups. He has overall accountability for the controllership function, risk management, accounting, reporting, taxation, business and investment planning, treasury, financial communications and pension and nuclear fund management. He is a member of OPG’s Executive Management Team and chairs the Pension Committee and the Executive Risk Committee. In 2008, Donn Hanbidge was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Nuclear Waste Management Organization. Donn Hanbidge was previously Vice President, Controller from August 1999 - 2005.
Prior to joining OPG, Donn Hanbidge held various financial management roles with Union Gas Limited. He provided leadership in corporate financial reporting, financial planning, and investment decision support and analysis.
Donn Hanbidge began his career with Ernst & Young in the accounting and audit practice, and later joined Ernst & Young’s consulting practice where he provided financial and general management consulting services to a broad range of companies, including those in the oil and gas, transportation, lottery, and health care industries.
Donn Hanbidge was born in Owen Sound, Ontario. He obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario and is a Chartered Accountant.

Barb Keenan
Senior Vice President, Human Resources and Chief Ethics Officer
Barb Keenan was appointed to her current position in March 2010. She is responsible for the development of human resource strategies that support OPG’s business goals, including enhanced employee engagement, employer of choice through recruiting, succession planning and building successful relationships with OPG’s unions and partners. She is also responsible for strategies and programs supporting safety and employee wellness. As Chief Ethics Officer, she is accountable for implementation of OPG’s Code of Business Conduct and for ensuring accessibility and responsiveness to employee concerns.
Barb Keenan joined Ontario Hydro in 1989. Barb Keenan has held various roles in Human Resources at OPG and Ontario Hydro (the predecessor company of OPG). Prior to this appointment, Barb was the Vice President - Nuclear Human Resources and Employee Safety, and Vice President - Corporate Human Resources and Employee Safety. In these roles, Barb Keenan has been accountable for the overall management, leadership, direction and support for providing products and services designed to enhance business performance in the areas of leadership development, workforce and succession planning, recruitment, change management, employee communications and nuclear and corporate security. From 2000 – 2006 Barb Keenan worked with Capgemini Canada as Vice President – Human Resources for Outsourcing and later the broader organization.
Barb Keenan is an Honours Arts graduate from the University of Toronto, a Certified HR Planning Professional and Certified Human Resources and Compensation Committee Director.

Catriona King
Vice President, Corporate Secretary
Catriona King is Vice President, Corporate Secretary for OPG. Ms. King was appointed to her current position in June 2005 and works with the Board Chair and the President and CEO on governance for OPG and its subsidiaries and on Shareholder and government relations. She also oversees the Executive Office.
Catriona King received a Bachelor of Arts degree from York University in 1981 and did graduate studies at York University’s Faculty of Environmental Studies.

Pat McNeil
Senior Vice President, Corporate Business Development and Chief Risk Officer
Pat McNeil was appointed to his current position as Senior Vice President, Corporate Business Development and Chief Risk Officer, at OPG in August 2009. His primary responsibilities are coordinating OPG’s corporate development activities and overseeing the company’s risk managing activities. Prior to his current appointment in OPG, Pat McNeil was Senior Vice President - Nuclear Generation Development, Senior Vice President - Nuclear Strategy and Support, and Vice President - Corporate Development. Pat McNeil has held various positions at Ontario Hydro, the predecessor company of OPG, including Vice President - Corporate Planning and Vice President - Strategic and Investment Planning.
Pat McNeil began his career with Ontario Hydro in 1976 and progressed through various technical and managerial positions across the corporation. From 1995 to 1997, Pat McNeil was Vice President - Public Affairs and Environment for the Canadian Electricity Association (CEA). In this role, he was responsible for the CEA’s advocating activities on legislative proposals and business issues. He also participated in the Government of Canada’s Executive Interchange Program from 1990 to 1991, where he was Senior Advisor, Electrical Developments for Natural Resources Canada.
Pat has served the community as Chair of the Board of Directors for the Rouge Valley Health System Foundation and as Chair of the Boards of Governors for Durham College, one of Ontario’s leading community colleges, and the University of Ontario Institute of Technology – Ontario’s newest university.
Pat McNeil was born in Quebec City, and obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree (Honours) in Chemistry from Carleton University in Ottawa (1975). He has also participated in the Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program for senior executives.

John Murphy
Executive Vice President, Hydro
Mr. Murphy was appointed to the position of Executive Vice President, Hydro, in November 2005. Mr. Murphy’s hydro accountabilities include oversight of OPG’s fleet of 65 clean, renewable hydroelectric generating stations and 231 water control dams on 24 river systems across Ontario. Mr. Murphy oversees a wide range of capacity improvements to OPG’s hydroelectric fleet which to date have added 450 MW of capacity.
Mr. Murphy is responsible for all new hydroelectric projects. These include the Niagara Tunnel Project, Upper Mattagami and Hound Chute, Healey Falls, as well as the 440 MW Lower Mattagami Project.
Prior to his current appointment, Mr. Murphy was OPG’s Executive Vice President, Human Resources and Chief Ethics Officer from 2000 to 2005.
Throughout his career, Mr. Murphy has served on the Board of Directors of a number of organizations including: Ontario Hydro, OPG, the Electrical Safety Authority, the First Ontario Investment Fund, the ABC Literacy Foundation, and the Canadian Labour and Business Centre. He is also a former director of the Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships.
Mr. Murphy is currently a Director on the Board of the Meridian Credit Union and Chair of their Compensation Committee. He is President of the Electrical Power Systems Construction Association.
John Murphy completed the Advanced Program in Human Resources Management at the University of Toronto and the Advanced Human Resources Executive Program at the University of Michigan. He is also a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP).

Charles Pautler
Vice President, Public Affairs
Charles (Chuck) Pautler is Vice President, Public Affairs of OPG. He was appointed to this position in April 2001. In his current position, Mr. Pautler directs and oversees the management of the “public face” of the company including all media strategy and communications and internet/intranet developments. He is responsible for research, advertising, brand management, publications, speeches, issues management and internal and external communications, as well as OPG’s Corporate Citizenship Program. He also is a member of the Executive Management Committee.
In his prior position of Director, Corporate Affairs, Mr. Pautler was responsible for supporting the Board of Directors, Board Committees and OPG Management Committees. He was responsible for government relations at provincial and federal levels, and for policy research. Mr. Pautler directed the Executive Office including OPG's Corporate Citizenship Program and Aboriginal Affairs.
Chuck Pautler joined Ontario Hydro, the predecessor company of OPG, in 1998 as Director of Policy and Research. He established a liaison with the provincial government on Bill 35 (The Energy Competition Act) and co-ordinated Ontario Hydro's participation in public hearings before the Legislature's Standing Committee on Resources Development.
Prior to joining Ontario Hydro, Mr. Pautler held a number of Directorships at the Ministry of the Environment and Energy including Program Development, Environmental Assessment and Communications and Public Affairs. He was responsible for initiating new environmental programs and regulations to protect and enhance air and water quality and for reforms to the environmental assessment program.
Mr. Pautler has a Bachelor of Environmental Studies degree from the University of Waterloo.

Wayne Robbins
Chief Nuclear Officer
Wayne Robbins is the Chief Nuclear Officer at OPG. Wayne Robbins was appointed to this position June 1, 2009. He reports to Tom Mitchell, President & CEO. Prior to this position Wayne was the Senior Vice President, Darlington Nuclear Generating Station. He was appointed to this position in December 2006. He reported directly to the Chief Nuclear Officer and was responsible for the strategic direction, planning and execution required to achieve nuclear production targets at Darlington, while focusing on safety and reliability.
In 2008, Wayne was named OPG’s Power Within Leader of the Year and in 2009, was honoured with the Ontario Energy Association leadership award.
September 2005 he was appointed to the position of Deputy Vice President, Darlington Nuclear. He reported directly to the Senior Vice President of Darlington and was responsible for support organizations (Strategic Planning, Finance, Performance Improvement, Security, Emergency Response, Regulatory Affairs) and assisting the Senior Vice President in station oversight.
Before arriving back to Darlington in September 2005 Wayne was the Director of Operations and Maintenance, Pickering B Nuclear Generating Station. Wayne's experience in operations, maintenance and success in outages was invaluable in meeting the challenges of the extensive outage program for Pickering B.
Before his appointment to Pickering B, Wayne held the same position at Pickering A Nuclear Generating Station where he was responsible for overall station operation, strategic planning and process improvements to achieve station targets and long-term station reliability.
Wayne joined Ontario Power Generation, formerly known as Ontario Hydro, in 1980. He was initially employed as a Commissioning Engineer at Pickering B, and also worked on Pickering A’s Retube Project before moving to Darlington Nuclear in 1985. At Darlington, Wayne held several positions including Commissioning Engineer, Shift Operating Supervisor, Fuel Handling Supervisor and then Shift Manager. Wayne was then promoted and held various Management positions such as Maintenance Manager, Outage Manager and Authorized Duty Manager.
Prior to 1980, Wayne worked with McLaren Consulting Firm, where he was involved in field engineering activities.
Wayne was born in Bancroft, Ontario and obtained his Bachelor Degree in Applied Science from Queen’s University. He and his wife, Jane, have three children. Their two sons currently live and work in the Durham Region and their daughter works in the Bancroft area.

W. R. (Bill) Robinson
Executive Vice President, Nuclear Refurbishment and Support
Bill Robinson is Executive Vice President, Nuclear Refurbishment & Support, at OPG. Appointed to his current position in March 2010, his responsibility is to lead the preparation and execution of nuclear refurbishment projects, execute the nuclear project portfolio, provide inspection maintenance services across the nuclear fleet and manage the commercial services for nuclear business unit. Mr. Robinson joined Ontario Hydro in 1998, serving most recently as Senior Vice President, Nuclear Programs and Training; Senior Vice President, Pickering A Nuclear Return to Service Project; and Senior Vice President, Pickering B Nuclear. He has also held various senior positions in the nuclear industry.
Born in Colorado, Mr. Robinson obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Missouri. Bill is married and has two children and six grandchildren.

Colleen M. Sidford
Vice President, Treasurer
Colleen Sidford is Vice President, Treasurer at OPG. Appointed to her current position in December 2005, she provides financial leadership to OPG’s Treasury function.
Colleen is responsible for Treasury Operations, Insurance Risk Management, Investor Relations, Pension Fund Management, and Nuclear Fund Management. Colleen joined Ontario Power Generation in September 2003 as the Assistant Treasurer.
From 1995 to 2003, Colleen owned a private consulting business specializing in providing advisory services to large multinational corporations in the area of international banking and centralized treasury service centres. Prior to establishing her own company, Colleen held Treasury related positions with The Molson Companies Limited, Bank of America, and the Bank of Nova Scotia.

Albert Sweetnam
Executive Vice President, Nuclear New Build
Albert Sweetnam is Executive Vice President, Darlington New Nuclear Project at OPG. Mr. Sweetnam was appointed to his current position in January, 2009 and is responsible for Project Management oversight of the design, construction, licensing and commissioning of the Nuclear New Build project including developing the organizational capability to operate the facility, managing senior level stakeholder relations as well as overseeing the completion of the Request for Proposal (RFP) process currently underway with Infrastructure Ontario. In addition, Albert is responsible within OPG for oversight of the Nuclear Waste Management Organization (NWMO) work activities including Used Fuel Management – APM (adaptive phase management), Lifecycle Liability management (LLM) and managing OPG’s interests in the development and construction of a new nuclear Deep Geological Repository (DGR) that is planned to be used as the long-term storage location for OPG’s non-fuel radioactive materials.
Prior to joining OPG, he was a Senior Vice President with SNC Lavalin, Canada’s largest engineering construction company. Most recently, Mr. Sweetnam was the Project Director of the US $3.5 billion Ambatovy Project in Madagascar. Prior to this, he managed SNC Lavalin’s Infrastructure, Construction, Engineering and Environment Divisions in Ontario, Manitoba and several offshore locations. He has extensive expertise in the design, execution and commissioning phases of large complex multidisciplinary projects in Canada and internationally.
Mr. Sweetnam has wide-ranging worldwide experience having managed SNC Lavalin’s engineering and construction operations in West Africa for thirteen years and has also executed projects in southern Africa, Asia and South America.
Mr. Sweetnam has sat on the Boards of the Canadian Council for Private Public Partnerships, the Toronto Construction Association, the Consulting Engineers of Ontario and the Community Share Food Bank.
Mr. Sweetnam graduated with honours from the University of Waterloo and received a diploma in business administration from Ryerson University. He is a Fellow of the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering and a member of various professional engineering organizations in Canada, the United States and Africa.
