Staff at OPG's Western Waste Management Facility

OPG's Western Waste Management Facility (WWMF) located in Kincardine and over 180 of its employees has been a part of the community in Bruce County for more than 40 years.

As our way of giving back to the community that hosts our facility, the WWMF has supported more than 120 local not-for-profit initiatives in Kincardine, Saugeen Shores and the surrounding area.

OPG prizes the meaningful relationships it has developed with its community partners and is proud to offer its support to organizations such as the annual Kincardine Scottish Festival including the Highland Games Heavy Events where athletes toss telephone pole-sized logs, Port Elgin's Pumpkinfest, The Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre, area Food Banks, Minor Sports, environmental initiatives, First Lego Leagues and much more.
