OPG offers Ontario teachers free resource kits to help teach electrical energy and electricity generation to students in grades 1, 6 and 9. OPG has developed the resources in consultation with science educators across the province. The resources align to curriculum expectations in the Ontario Curriculum, 2007 and the Ontario Curriculum, 2008.

All kits contain a teacher's guide, and sufficient student guides and pens or pencils for a class. Kits are available in English. Selected resources are also available in French in PDF format. We are currently developing a new grade 6 kit, which will be available in September 2010. The contents of the kits are described in more detail below:
