FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Since the fall of 2006, Ontario Power Generation (OPG) has sought to engage the public in the OPG New Nuclear at Darlington Project and Environmental Assessment (EA). So far, we’ve held twenty-one community information sessions, met with over 5,000 individuals at local events, and have established a project resource centre for community residents in the Bowmanville Mall.
OPG staff has been asked many questions during one-on-one and group discussions. We have created this document to share with you the public’s most frequently asked questions and our responses to those questions. An informed community is important to the EA process and OPG will continue to provide public members with opportunities to learn more about this potential project.
